The 5th and 6th grade band classes are an important part of the Battling Beaver Band program. The 5th grade are beginning to learn how to play an instrument, and the 6th grade are continuing the process. The 6th grade band will participate with the 7th grade at concerts and a contest in the spring. The 6th grade alond with the 7th grade have an 11 consecutive year tradition of earning a first division at the contest they participate in.
